report by UN Women and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA).
This year’s edition comes at a pivotal moment: 30 years after the adoption of the
Beijing Declaration and
Platform for Action,
and only five years until the 2030 deadline to achieve the Sustainable Development
Goals. It is a time to take stock of progress, confront persistent and emerging challenges, and renew our
collective commitment to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development.
The launch will spotlight the report’s key findings and provide space for reflection on how Denmark and
