spørgsmål 351:
Vil ministeren oplyse antallet og andelen af folkeskoleelever med over 10
pct. fravær i skoleårene 2021/22, 2022/23 og 2023/24 fordelt på kom-
mune og klassetrin?
Svar:
Folkeskoler og kommunale specialskoler indberetter årligt fravær til Sty-
relsen for It og Læring i tre kategorier: 1) ekstraordinær frihed, 2) sygefra-
vær og 3) ulovligt fravær. Fraværet indberettes som antal dage, eleven
har været fraværende i løbet af en måned.
Antal og andel af elever i folkeskolen med fravær på over 10 procent i
skoleårene 2021/22 til 2023/24 fremgår af nedenstående tabel.
Det bemærkes, at skoleåret 2021/22 var påvirket af hjemsendelser grun-
det Covid-19 og af højt smittetryk. Tallene for det pågældende skoleår
skal derfor ses i lyset deraf.

Skolerne indberetter fravær i tre kategorier: ekstraordinær frihed, sygefravær og ulovligt fra-
vær. Hvis en elev har registreret fravær i forskellige kommuner i løbet af skoleåret fremgår
eleven af den kommune, hvor eleven har haft flest skoledage. I 214 tilfælde har en elev det
samme antal skoledage registreret i to kommuner, og eleven fremgår derved i begge
kommuner. Hvis en elev har registreret fravær på forskellige klassetrin i løbet af skoleåret
fremgår eleven af det klassetrin, hvor eleven har haft flest skoledage. Skoleåret 2021/22 var
påvirket af hjemsendelser grundet Covid-19 og af højt smittetryk. Tallene for det pågæl-

verne i kommunen, der i skoleåret, havde registreret over 10 procents fraværsdage (samlet
på tværs af kategorier) ud af det samlede antal skoledage.
