Dataetisk Råd afholder sammen med Det Etiske Råd dette efterår National Ethics Councils (NEC)-
Forum nr. 35. Dataetisk Råd inviterer hermed medlemmerne af udvalget for Digitalisering og IT til
at deltage.
NEC-Forum er en halvårlig samling af nationale etiske råd i EU. Traditionen foreskriver, at det land
som har EU-formandskabet er vært for NEC-Forum.
NEC-Forum giver medlemslandenes råd en lejlighed til at præsentere udtalelser og igangværende
arbejder, udveksle erfaringer og diskutere fremtiden for etik og rådgivning af folkevalgte. Til denne
NEC-Forum er der et særligt fokus på tværeuropæiske og geopolitiske etiske problematikker. NEC-
Forum er en helt særlig lejlighed til at sikre sig viden om, hvordan forholdet mellem etik og politik
diskuteres i Europa netop nu.
Titlen for dette halvårs NEC-Forum lyder:
Ethics in Transition: Institutions, Technologies, and Public Trust
Et program er under udarbejdelse med bidrag fra alle medlemslande. Til jeres orientering inkluderes
et foreløbigt program, som kan give et indtryk af NEC-Forum.

The former vice-president
of the European commission and chair of the Commissioners’ Group on
“a Europe Fit for the Digital Age” will give a key note on
digital Sovereignty [final title TBA], followed
by a joint discussion in the topic.
Based on the discussion in this session, the organisers would like to use this opportunity to invite all
NEC participants to co-write a declaration of intent on Digital Sovereignty. We expect to have a draft
declaration ready shortly after the NEC to be distributed and discussed.
