Dear Member,The head of the Italian Delegation, Senator Sergio De Gregorio, has informed me that dueto anticipated elections in 2013 for both chambers of the Italian Parliament, it will not bepossible for the Italian Delegation to host the annual session in that year.It is therefore necessary to find a new host for the 2013 annual session and this must bedone in the near future because conference facilities and accommodation on a suitablescale often must be reserved two or more years in advance.I should also point out that no session hosts have been identified beyond the end of 2013.I have attached a document showing the locations of sessions and Standing Committeemeetings from 1983 to 2013 to assist each delegation in considering when it would beappropriate to host a future session.As usual, future sessions will be on the agenda of the Standing Committee meeting inWarsaw in November and it would obviously be helpful if the question of the 2013 annualsession could be resolved at that meeting.If any delegation would like further information about the practical aspects of hostingsessions, please do not hesitate to contact me.Let me take this opportunity to wish you a pleasant summer.
