Fehmarnbelt Days 2018 is getting close
Fehmarnbelt Days in Malmö, 28-29 of May, is less than a month away. We look forward to
a conference filled with interesting meetings, new ideas, and lively discussions about
opportunities of the emerging Fehmarnbelt Region. All about Tomorrow’s connections.
The second day of the conference is filled with thematic seminars and workshops. Some of
the questions that you have a chance to discuss are;
How will the opening of Fehmarnbelt influence transport and travel in northern Europe?
What recent and future trends can be seen in the transport development of the
Fehmarnbelt region?
What initiatives and policies can help local businesses achieve a successful digital
transformation?
How can we drive the green growth agenda forward in the region?

Fehmarn Belt Fixed
Link
The Fehmarnbelt is the strait between
Rödby/Denmark and
Puttgarden/Germany. The planned
Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link will create a
region of nine million inhabitants once it
opens in 2028. For Europe as a whole, the
Fehmarnbelt Link is one of the most
important pieces of the logistical puzzle
and an important part of the
Scandinavian-Mediterranean Corridor.
The link creates opportunities for new
jobs, research and culture. We are already
creating a region in the making
for
living and working!
