You are cordially invited to Victim Support Europe’s conference “Victims of Crime beyond 2015 - A Manifesto 2014-2020”. The event will take place in the European Parliament in Brussels and will focus on the future of victims’ rightsin Europe after the implementation phase of the EU Directive establishing minimum standards on the rights, supportand protection of victims of crime. It will include presentations from representatives of the European Commission,the European Parliament and the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The event will also be theopportunity to launch Victim Support Europe’s Manifesto for the 2014 European Parliament election.This is a chance for Members of the European Parliament, criminal justice agencies, national representatives,lawyers, practitioners and academics to learn more about progress made in relation to the implementation of the EUDirective and measures still to be taken to ensure its full implementation as well as future legislative steps to bedone to further strengthen the rights of victims of crime across Europe.In order to facilitate catering and administrative arrangements, we would greatly appreciate if you could let us knowby
